Griggs, 54, will serve a one- year term as president. He was formally installed as president in a ceremony on Jan. 12 held at Martin Door Manufacturing.

He is a member of the Board of Directors at Martin Door, where he currently serves as director of Retail Sales. He and his wife, Beth Ann, are the parents of seven children.

Griggs earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and has worked at Martin Door Manufacturing for the past 31 years.
