Martin Door recently introduced four new torsion
drive openers, including the DC 4600 for residential
applications and the DC4800, DC 7000 and DC
7000 CH for commercial applications. All of
the new openers are available immediately.
"When a trolley type opener cannot be
installed, the DC 4600 is the desirable unit
to put in," Dave Martin, chairman of Martin
Door Manufacturing, said.
Like other Martin Door openers, the new DC
4600 features a quiet DC motor. The computer
automatically sets the open and close limits
as well the force needed to open and close the
door, according to Martin.
The DC 4600 opener includes a Martin radio
control with one transmitter. Optional extra
transmitters, keyless entry, etc, can be ordered.
The radio control is also available as an option
for the other Martin torsion drive opener models.
The DC 4600 opener includes photo eyes and
complies with UL325 requirements. Photo eyes
are optional for the other torsion drive openers.
