Tony Colindres knew the impact a Martin Door can have on the neighborhood from experience. He said when a Martin Door was installed on his West Valley City, Utah home 20 years ago; it caused neighbors to stop, stare and eventually led to a small trend among neighbors to upgrade their garage doors.

With the recent installation of another new Martin Door on his home in September for a Spanish television network program, even more heads are likely to turn.

"The neighbors asked, 'what are you doing?'" Dalia Colindres said of the garage door installation, which was part of a home makeover project.

The new garage door capped a makeover that made an older Utah home, look almost new.

The Colindres did some landscaping in front of their home, changed the paint on the trim and installed some new outside lights. That proved to be the perfect setup for the installation of a 16 x 8 powder- coated Martin Garage Door. The copper vein color door features Crystalera windows with copper caming.

"We hadn't even hoped that it would be so beautiful," Tony said of the new door installation.

The video will be used to help market Martin Doors in the U.S., Mexico, parts of South America and Puerto Rico and Spain.

As part of the arrangement, Mike Martin negotiated to have a Spanish-speaking designer work with the West Valley couple on how to increase curb appeal in front of their home. The tips included landscaping areas, as well as changing the garage door.

The Colindres' are natives of Honduras and have lived in Utah for the past 22 years.
