SALT LAKE – Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and his wife played host to a small group of Martin Door dealers and officials at the governor's mansion, recently.
Utah's highest executive greeted a group of four employees from Giax, Martin's Dealer in Norway, and two officials from Classic House, Martin's Dealer in Sweden. The group was in Salt Lake to tour Martin Door Manufacturing facilities and learn more about Martin Door's selling features, production procedures and installation techniques.

Giax officials included Erik Owrenn, sales manager, and Ingeborg Losnes, Morten Swee and Bjorn A. Olsen. Thomas and Susanne Kleveback were part of the group and owners of Classic House. Combined these two companies have already purchased 20 40-foot containers of Martin Doors.
The Martin Door delegation included Dave Martin, CEO of MDM, Larry Martin, Vice President of MDM, Dr. Keith Martin, Director of International Sales, Korri Domestead, International Sales Specialist and Antone Clark, Chief Communications Officer.
During the 40-minute plus visit, Huntsman and his wife Mary Kaye, also took time to rave about what they describe as one of Utah's finest businesses.

Mrs. Huntsman greeted the guests while they waited for her husband to come down from the capitol.
“They have a great reputation in Utah,” Mary Kaye Huntsman told the visitors about Martin Door. She noted that she grew up seeing Dave Martin in TV commercials.
When her husband arrived, he was no less complimentary of Martin Door. He told the visitors that Martin Doors is one of Utah's best companies. He also began to work out a potential tour of the Martin Door Manufacturing facilities later this year.
The governor is a seventh generation Utahn; his wife Mary Kaye is a first generation Utahn. Together they have six children, one of whom is adopted from China.
A former ambassador to Singapore, Gov. Huntsman is fluent in Mandarin and speaks some Spanish. He showcased his language and diplomatic skills during a meeting with a large group of Martin Door's international dealers during the 2005 Martin Door Dealer conference.
