Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez announced
the appointment. Dr. Martin has served on
the council for the past 14 years. His new
appointment expires in December of 2009.
The council is an organization of volunteers
who lend their experience and leadership
to support the nation's industry and government
export expansion effort. DEC attempts
to establish a communication link between
the U.S. Department of Commerce and the
business community.
Martin oversees an international sales
team at Martin Door that services 82 countries.
Martin Door was awarded the "E Award"
for excellence in exporting in 1994 by
the President of the United State.
Keith and his wife Trisa are the parents
of six children and the grandparents of
four. They live in Bountiful.
