Copper Door Adds Real Curb Appeal To TV Show

Curb Appeal Segment To Include Martin Door

SAN FRANCISCO - A Martin Finger Shield™Garage Door will be the feature item on a national home makeover show in the near future.

An 8 x 7 copper garage door was installed on a San Francisco home for the Home & Garden Television's show "Curb Appeal." The show is expected to air sometime in late March or early April. It was installed for homeowner Francois Bergez, who chose a real metal copper door with tiara vista windows. Jack McIntyre of Garage Doors Unlimited installed the door.

Jack McIntyre installs the Finger Shield™ on a Martin copper garage door while a cameraman catches it on film. McIntyre installed the door for "Curb Appeal" a home makeover show on the Home & Garden TV network.

McIntyre said he helped Bergez choose the tiara windows to compliment the black iron that will be added to the home as part of its makeover for the cable show.

Bergez had nothing but praise for McIntyre and the door he installed.

"It's gorgeous. It is really gorgeous," Bergez said of the new garage door on his home. He also raved about McIntyre's approach to the job while Francois' wife, Valérie said her neighbors have also noted how quiet the door is.

Dave Martin is shown with Valérie and Francois Bergez of San Francisco and Jack McIntyre of Garage Doors Unlimited in front of the new copper garage door with tiara vista windows at the Bergez home. McIntyre installed the door for an upcoming version of "Curb Appeal" and Dave Martin also went to San Francisco to be taped for the show.

McIntyre said he helped Bergez decide on the windows, because of some black iron that will be added to the home as part of its makeover for the cable show.

Martin Door CEO David Martin is also expected to be part of the taped show. He flew to San Francisco in late January to tape a segment for the show.

Each episode of "Curb Appeal" features a real house and homeowner with guest experts who discuss the owner's needs and propose projects to improve the home's appearance. A virtual makeover then shows how to further increase the home's curb appeal. The show airs on Sundays and Wednesdays on HGTV.
