It's Easy To Gauge Comparison With New Martin Kit

Aug 23, 2005

Martin Door Manufacturing is adding another safety standard to its garage doors.

Martin Door has introduced a hardware comparison kit, which contains samples of seven different hardware components that make up every Martin Garage door and similar components that make up a non-Martin garage door. The components are housed in an easy to carry 5 ½ x 18 box with an easy to grab handle. It weighs approximately six pounds. The kits will be availabe in September.

“This is a great sales tool that demonstrates the vast differences of Martin versus other brands. All Martin dealer sales people should have these with them,” Dave Haslam, national director of sales, said of the kit.

Haslam said the tool can help sales people close sales, by allowing the customer to physically see the difference between Martin Doors and others.

The kit includes a Martin Rollershield™, a small section of Martin's galvanized spring, a heavy-gauge low-profile hinge, a safety lock-on bottom bracket, a small section of heavy grade cable with a loop, a small section of track as well as a metal sample of the 24 gauge steel used in every Martin Door.

Contact your Martin Door rep to receive a hardware comparison kit.
