His career at Martin Door is the essence of
"been there and done that."
Brent Graham has grown up with Martin Door.
A young 18-year-old when he started with the
company in 1982, Graham has seen Martin Door
grow a lot in the past 22 years, and has had
a hand in that growth.

Early in his career Graham
was known to work 80 to 95 hours a week
during the company's peak season in the
summer and fall, just to make sure the small
Martin Door crew was meeting demand. There
were several days when he worked the full
24 hours.
Times have changed.
"I worked a lot of 24 hour days,"
Graham says in looking back. As the
company has grown it has continually
improved its product, processes and
reduced that need, he said.

"Its' progressed to where it's not seasonal,"
Graham said of the company. He marvels that
Martin Doors are now shipping all over the world.
"It's amazing how many countries they go
to and how many doors are built a day,"
he said.
Currently Receiving Supervisor, Graham has
worked in several positions in his two-decade
plus career at Martin Door. He was a panel maker
and was supervisor over section assembly, wrapping,
windows and all custom doors at one time. He
has been in receiving for five years.
He said his challenge now is to make sure everyone
has everything they need, when they need it.
Martin McBride, Materials Manager for Martin
Door and Brent's supervisor, said Graham is
a problem solver.

McBride admits
the company has a "unique problem"
in the distance between his purchasing office
and the receiving dock. He said Graham is
the perfect solution to that problem.
"He's very level headed. He doesn't
get riled. He just gets to the point
and solves problems," McBride said.
Graham said there is a reason he doesn't
stress about the challenges he faces
in his job.
"I've seen everything I've been
here so long," Graham mused. It
helps too that most of the supervisors,
with whom he interfaces, are people
he used to work with in assembly.

The father of four, Graham looks back on his
time at Martin Door as one of positive change.
He said the company just keeps getting better
at everything it does. "Everything is always
changing, it's always improving. It's constantly
changing and I would say for the best,"
Graham said.
Brent and his wife, Jennifer, live in South
Jordan, Utah. He likes to ski and hang out with
his family and kids.
